This talk is based on John Kachuba's new book, Shapeshifters: A History.
The nonfiction book explores the shapeshifter character and answers how and why it has appeared in cultures all around the world, from Neolithic times to the present day. It examines shapeshifters from many perspectives: historical, mythological, theological, psychological, and even pop culture.
The presentation will be illustrated with photos from Kachuba's books.
Light refreshments will be provided.
