Outreach Services Coordinator

Grant CPL- a big, beautiful county library nestled halfway between Cincinnati and Lexington, and only 15 minutes from Florence- is seeking to hire a full-time Outreach Services Coordinator.

 

The ideal candidate will have a background in library services, computer basics instruction,  and a current driver’s license.

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Providing library and information services to patrons- primarily homebound and seniors.

• Driving a library outreach vehicle to areas throughout the county for homebound, senior services, checkout of library materials.

• Engaging relevant senior organizations in Grant County to identify resources or computer basics instruction.

• Collections maintenance of library materials in the library outreach vehicle.

 

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Educational field preferred, Library field prioritized 

 

Experience: 

• Minimum one year experience in a public library preferred.

• Minimum one year experience working in a library setting preferred.

Salary: Begins at $18/hr.; higher starting salary negotiable upon education/experience

Job Type: Full time/Part time, depending on successful candidate's availability

Reports to: Assistant Director.
