Making sure that the people of Grant County have top-level library services, GCPL’s administration and our IT support providers- Kentucky-based LibSynergy- completed a deal for the purchase of eight new desktop computers.
The eight new computers are expected to arrive in February, and will replace older computers at the Circulation desk, Reference desks, GED testing room, and Catalog computers. Placing our newest computers at these locations helps ensure that our patrons will receive faster, more reliable service.
Though some of our older computers are ready for retirement, those that still have life left in them will be repurposed for our upcoming oral history projects, computer skills programs, staff training, and more.
